Dear Retreatants,

Peace ! ! !

We know the darkness will not win. Because after darkness, comes Light. After Passion and death, comes resurrection. A virus
crossed all borders arrd affected every human life. We all know the story of the man born blind (John 9:1-41). Before curing the man’s physical darkness, Jesus warned, “Night is coming When no one can work.” In a sense, so many of us worldwide have stumbled in
the darkness that this coronavirus has brought upon us. We are persevering and hoping to get through this; to see the light and
have hope! Remember the words of Jesus, “I am the light of the
world” (Jn 9:5). ln lsaiah 9:2 we read: The people who walk in
darkness will see a great light; Those who live in darknresrs, the light will shine on them.
